Or, more accurately, the <em>rise<\/em> of the screen designer.<br \/>Switching to a focus on screens in Photoshop makes for better and quicker prototyping. Keeping an entire app with dozens of views and modals inside a single PSD is a snap.<br \/>To point you in the right direction, we\u2019ve rounded up 4 of our most useful tips for new artboard users. Master these, and you\u2019ll be dancing around screens in Photoshop like you\u2019ve been doing it all along.<br \/><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-273534\" src=\"https:\/\/designmodo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/navigate-artboards.gif\" alt=\"Navigating between artboards\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\"><br \/>Now that you\u2019ve got a complex document filled with artboards, you need a quick way to jump between them. In the Layers Panel, <strong>Option + click<\/strong> on the artboard you want to navigate to, and Photoshop will scroll it into view.<br \/>With <a class=\"link\" href=\"\/postcards\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Postcards Email Builder<\/a> you can create and edit email templates online without any coding skills! Have too many open, and things can get\u2026 overwhelming.<br \/>To expand or collapse all artboards, <strong>Cmd + click<\/strong> any artboard in the Layers Panel, and all will take action at once. Think of it like your road map when you\u2019re lost in a <em>Layer 2 copy 2<\/em> jungle.<br \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-273536\" src=\"https:\/\/designmodo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/create-artboards.gif\" alt=\"Create artboards from a Group\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\"><br \/>Even if you started a document without artboards, you can easily create them from existing layers or groups. Simply <strong>right-click<\/strong> on a group in the Layers Panel and select <strong>\u201cArtboard from Group\u201d<\/strong> to make the switch.<br \/>Artboards come with some awesome benefits, like being quickly exportable or being smartly synced with prototyping services like InVision. With a few clicks, a PSD filled with flat screens can turn into so much more.<br \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-273537\" src=\"https:\/\/designmodo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/quick-export.gif\" alt=\"How to quick Export Artboards as PNG\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\"><br \/>With <a class=\"link\" href=\"\/startup\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Startup App<\/a> and <a class=\"link\" href=\"\/slides\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Slides App<\/a> you can build unlimited websites using the online website editor which includes ready-made designed and coded elements, templates and themes.  <br \/>Speaking of getting assets out of a PSD, the new <strong>Quick Export<\/strong> feature lives up to its name.
